new things!

maxson has some new things that he likes to do:

-He LOVES talking!! he blabbers all the time, especially if you talk back to him and encourage it. he says "ahh-goo!" and "nnneeee!" and giggles a ton. i love it so much.

-he cracks up in his sleep! it's oh-so-funny. one time, he even woke matt and me up because he was laughing so hard!

-on the flip side, he also sometimes starts crying in his sleep...it makes me wonder what he could possibly be dreaming about??

-he's started to get really wild with his arm movements. he makes big fan motions with his arms with a shocked expression on his face and it cracks me up.

-he loves to hold my hand while he's nursing. if i don't grab it, he moves his little hand all around looking for it :)

-he LOVES staring at his daddy. he already looks up to him so much!

I'm just loving watching maxson learn new things and figure out what the world is all about. he honestly gets cuter every day! i love my life!

in other news, we're having fun hanging out with matt's mom who has been in town since friday! we went to mount vernon where george washington's private estate is and toured it, went downtown on the fourth to see the parade (maxson and i left early because it was too hot and loud for him), and went to this AWESOME outlet mall and shopped till we dropped (best thing ever--they had a J Crew OUTLET! i got such good deals!). maxson is loving getting to hang out with his grandma, and i'm loving the company, help, and a little bit of "me time".
